Subject to machine availability, the time it takes to create the various file types are as follows:
ProRes - Realtime (not including eyeball QC)
Dubbing Guide .mov - (2x slower than realtime - export master file, add BITC and encode to specific file type set by sound facility)
H264 - 2x slower than realtime (not including eyeball QC)
DPX 2K - Realtime (not including eyeball QC)
DPX 4K - 2x slower than realtime (not including eyeball QC)
DCP - 5x slower than realtime (not including eyeball QC)
DPP AS-11 - 9x slower than realtime - (File has to be created - 6x slower than realtime, further 20 minutes are needed to add the metadata, then has to go through Automated Quality Control (50% slower than realtime) and finally watched, realtime)
DVD - To create a high quality, feature length DVD we will need around 12 hours of machine time
BluRay - A feature length Bluray will need around 24 hours of machine time (create master file, 2-pass encode high quality to Bluray format, burn, label, eyeball QC)
AutoQC and PSE / Harding Test (Vidchecker) - Generally 2x slower than realtime but this doesn't count as an 'eyeball' QC which is done by our control team
