The credit roller is the most common cause of delays to deliveries so it's crucial that it's done correctly. To ensure this, follow our guide:

The Basic Steps

1. Contact bookings - Email bookings@thelooklondon.com to schedule time for the roller to be created and to be issued with a correctly formatted google spreadsheet.

2. Fill in the spreadsheet - Keeping the original format of the spreadsheet, do not delete columns and fill in all the credit information. We can see when revisions have been made as we get an email notification.

  • Mobile and iPad users: it is possible to edit a Google Sheet via your mobile browser or iPad, but you will need to download the Google Sheets app (your phone will prompt you to do this). Once installed replace the https:// in the link we send you with Googlesheets:// in your browser - this will force your phone to open the sheet in the proper Google Sheets app where you can edit it easily

Things to remember

- The Look does not take responsibility for grammar, spelling mistakes or missing credits. Therefore, it is a good idea to appoint someone as responsible for the roller.

- So deliveries aren't delayed there must be no more changes to the roller/cards after the scheduled creation date. We will download the latest version of the google document when creating the roller/cards so it must be correct and final. We will not edit the text of a roller/cards in the online system, the google sheet must be correct.

- Logos must be provided to us at a minimum of 300x300 pixels, and preferably on black.

- Consideration has to be given to font types, thin fonts may shimmer in a roller or at DVD or online quality. If you wish to use a font that requires licensing it is up to you to obtain the license.

- Keep the spreadsheet up to date. This is the only file that we will accept so changes shouldn't be made elsewhere or emailed to us.

- Changes after sign-off by the appointed Production Representative will incur additional charges as sign-off Quicktimes have to be rendered & reissued.
